It is of course the Feast of Tabernacles.

IH2Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3055508834141316349.post-89946893946369540342008-10-22T00:06:00.000-04:002008-10-22T00:06:00.000-04:00From: Vicki's Husband from Watch for the Day,The n...From: Vicki's Husband from Watch for the Day,

The name of the article is a little misleading. I realize why you may have chosen it, but it does not represent the facts.

There are four lunar eclipses in 2014 and 2015. Three of them will not even be visible in Jerusalem. It will be daytime in Jerusalem at the time they occur and those eclipses will be visible only on the other side of the world.

The one eclipse that is visible in Jerusalem is perhaps the most important one. It occurs on the first day of Succoth, the Feast of Trumpets in 2015. The date is either September 28 or 29, I forget.

The Blood Moon does not Rise as you have suggested. Instead it sets.

If one is standing on the Mount of Olives, the Blood Moon in full eclipse will set over Jerusalem. The Blood Moon in full eclipse will set over the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount. The Blood Moon in full eclipse will set over the New Temple, the Third Temple, if it is by then rebuilt.

We've studied this out on the NASA site using the Excel spreadsheet by entering the latitude and longitude for Jerusalem (Mount of Olives). You kind of have to know what you are doing to figure it out, and I do have a technical background, so I'm fairly confident that I've got all the calculation correct.

The Full Eclipse of the full moon will end almost simultaneously if not at the moment that the moon is slipping over the western horizon. This is also very nearly the very moment that the sun is breaking over the eastern horizon. The daybreak is either 6:28 AM or 6:29 AM, I forget which, and the maximum full eclipse will end about 6:23, but there is some slop in that number of up to two minutes or more due to some astronomical and geometrical effects. It is just too close in my mind to be mere coincidence. Even if not in full eclipse, the moon will still be in eclipse as it slips over the horizon, and will remain that way for another hour or so.

I see this Blood Moon total lunar eclipse setting over Jerusalem as the end of an age and the beginning of new day.

Vicki and I will publish additional details soon on her web page.

MGG IH2Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
